I am convinced that many people, I am the first, we tend to be busy all the time so we have nothing to do. Particularly I’m always doing something, I’m reading 4 books simultaneously, I write for this blog, I handle my business, I’ll classes specialising in capital markets, got to invest in a course online, go to the gym and besides that I have to take my sex life and spiritual. In order to pass me busy. I have no time for anything. Common phrase in the corporate world today.
But now I’m seriously questioning the mania to be busy all the time. So finding these reflections about time management as I like a glove and I share with you especially if you’re among those who “do not have time for anything” these different positions can help you take a day to day much more productive. We see that:
1. Take the time vs use of time. There is things called Parkinson’s Law, which states that work expands to fill the time available to complete. ”
That is, if you tell a busy person who “has a deadline this time to give something”, that person can give you all the skill to fill those hours, even if the term is very loose.
A classic example is the students, who are told the first day of testing dates and just missing a few days for those beginning to study like crazy.
On the other hand, productive people think, “I need to give this task, so I’m going to schedule to take advantage of the hours I have to deliver as much as possible.”
With such thinking, hardly a person employed to deliver something before the deadline. By contrast, the productive person is always thinking of ways to deliver the order beyond the expected.
2. Doing what happens vs make it happen. A person “busy” is easily distracted. That’s because being without a clear objective, any interruption seems relevant and what is important but not urgent is always left out.
The productive person knows he needs to achieve an important goal so that everything that is not related to that goal should be ignored until the target is reached, does it make sense that a Formula One driver, check Facebook every 5 minutes during a race ? Why do that?
3. Follow the rules vs. rule making. People without productive position normally receive a sequence of tasks to run in and out without really understand why. That takes motivation and greatly increases the difficulty of the task.
Productive people, however, seriously concerned to understand where they need to go. From that, they manage to create their own plans and execute them differently.
Conclusion: Produce or stretch, curl is a waste of time. Working 24 hours a day is not the most productive thing you can do. Just as the machines need maintenance, the human body needs time to rest otherwise can make you sick.
For that reason there is no problem if you spend hours on the Internet or watching television at a time when you really need to rest.
Learning to manage time productively can help a lot when looking for financial freedom.
Find information, take courses or do whatever he deems necessary to improve in that area. The results will amaze you. Regards
